The Chapter and Foundation celebrate scholarship recipients each September at Normandie Farm in Potomac, Maryland

Every three years, the Montgomery County Chapter holds a Triennial Auction to raise funds to support the Foundation’s charitable giving. In 2019, the Triennial Auction raised over $80,000, which allowed the Foundation to donate $10,000 to the Bar Association of Montgomery County to support its Pro Bono Program.

The Montgomery County Women’s Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Montgomery County Chapter and serves the local community by awarding over $30,000 in scholarships to talented students each year, planning educational seminars for middle and high school students (Preparing for Success), and supporting local and specialty bar associations.

Preparing for Success is one day seminar for middle and high school students to educate teens and their parents about relevant issues impacting teens today.
